WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
We will send you a confirmation email containing the details of the appointment and three brief online forms for you to complete (a consent form, an intake form, a questionnaire, and a video consent form). You will also receive an email reminder before every appointment.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE INITIAL SESSION?
The initial session involves understanding what brought you to therapy, the difficulties you have been experiencing, understanding the nature of these difficulties, and creating goals that are agreed on. You will be treated with compassion and respect throughout all sessions.
WHAT TYPE OF PSYCHOLOGIST ARE YOU?
I am a clinical psychologist. I have completed six years of formal tertiary psychology training plus a two-year clinical registrar program. I completed a bachelors degree, honours year, and a masters degree in clinical psychology at the University of Melbourne. I am currently completing a three year course in ISTDP.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
72 hours or earlier will not incur a charge. 72 - 48 hours will result in 50% payment being charged (not covered by Medicare). 48 - 0 hours before your session will result in 100% payment being charged (not covered by Medicare).
